Kannon’s Story, A Legacy that lives on
Some souls come into this world and leave a mark so deep that no amount of time could ever erase it. Kannon Chael was that kind of soul.

In just two and a half years, he packed in more life, more laughter, and more love than most people find in a lifetime. He was our first, the one who made us parents, and from the very beginning, he showed us what it meant to see the world with wonder and joy.

Kannon loved the lake. He loved the boats. He loved being right beside his daddy, little hands ready to help with whatever needed doing, because that’s just who he was, present, eager, and full of purpose. And when the day was done, there was nothing sweeter than falling into his mama’s arms, safe and loved and right where he belonged.

What made Kannon so extraordinary was his spirit. He could walk into a room full of adults and hold a conversation like he’d been here a hundred years. Bright beyond his years. Funny in the way that catches you off guard and makes your whole chest warm. He loved people, and people loved him right back, because it was impossible not to.

Losing him in 2017 left a hole in our hearts that will never fully close. But Kannon never really left us. He’s in every sunrise over the water, every boat that leaves the dock, every laugh that sounds a little too familiar.

And he’s in our logo, an anchor bearing his name, because that’s exactly what he is to us. Our anchor. The thing that keeps us grounded, keeps us going, and reminds us every single day why we love this lake, these boats, and this life we’ve built.
